Global Nonprofit has an immediate need for a Payroll Accountant with at least 3+ years of experience. This is an immediate and open-ended contract opportunity! The successful candidate will be responsible for running soup-to-nuts payroll for up to 110 employees, biweekly and multi-state, including the preparation of payroll journal entries and associated reconciliations. They should be able to review and help process payroll, post journal entries for payroll, as well assist with reconciliations. Requirements:
- 3+ years payroll experience- reviewing and processing payroll, posting journal entries for payroll, assist with reconciliations
- Understanding of multi-state payroll, payroll taxes and compliance.
- Experience with payroll related accounting, journal entries and reconciliations.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency with NetSuite
- Proficiency with TriNet payroll software
- Non-profit industry experience (nice to have)
- Experience with California payroll laws
Compensation: $30-$35/ HourSalary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.#SONINY
