- Perform field laborer and helper duties, providing essential support to the Driller and crew.
- Assist in operating and managing drilling rigs and related equipment under the Driller's supervision.
- Help conduct and document safety training sessions, ensuring all crew members follow safety protocols.
- Regularly assist in inspecting and maintaining drilling equipment to ensure it is ready and safe for operation.
- Ensure time is effectively utilized and reported accurately.
- Support the Driller in managing activities at the work site, contributing to the smooth and efficient operation of the team.
- Help with other duties and projects as assigned by the Driller or management.
- Learn, understand, and consistently apply safe work practices in all aspects of your role.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Some experience in the drilling industry is preferred, but not required. On-the-job training will be provided.
- Basic understanding of safety policies and regulations is preferred.
- Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, ability to work well in a team environment, and good communication skills.
- HAZWOPER 40 Hour preferred
- Preference will be given to individuals with a CDL and/or drilling experience.
Pay is negotiable dependent on experience. Starting range $20-30/hr.This is a safety sensitive position and is subject to drug and alcohol testing.
