Restorative Aide, CNA

Description of the Role

The Restorative Aide, CNA position at Mantey Heights Rehabilitation and Care Center in Grand Junction, CO is responsible for assisting in the care and rehabilitation of residents.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in carrying out restorative care programs under the supervision of licensed nurses and therapists.
  • Provide assistance with activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  • Assist with mobility, transfers, and exercises as directed.
  • Observe and report any changes in residents' conditions to the appropriate staff.
  • Ensure a clean and safe environment for residents.

Requirements

  • Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
  • 3 years previous experience as a CNA.
  • Knowledge of restorative care programs and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
