Job Schedule: Part Time Standard Hours: 30 Job Shift: Shift 1 Shift Details: Mostly 1st shift with some evening and weekend coverage for community events

Job Summary

Understand the requirements of Prevention Grant Funded Programs and take specific actions to ensure that grant requirements are fulfilled.

Job Responsibilities

  • Execute programs (drugs, mental health, vaping, etc.), including direct service to provide school and/or community-based services per grant objectives
  • Implement policies consistent with the State Standards for Prevention in collaboration with other Prevention staff members
  • Maintain records in accordance with Program requirements (e.g. monthly statistical reports, performance-based prevention criteria, pre and post-testing, and group topics)
  • Design and implement programs and activities that foster prevention Best Practices
  • Attend various community organization events and meetings to partner with them to promote prevention activities and achieve grant goals
  • Perform other related duties as required

  • Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree in human services field (Education, social work, counseling, public policy, psychology etc).
    • Two years of experience working with families, clients, and/or vulnerable populations in the community.
    • Two years of experience working in a behavioral health environment.
    • Demonstrated ability to effectively work with a variety of age and cultural groups.
