About you and this role:
Provides technical leadership to improve and optimize the execution, duration, scheduling and resourcing of turnarounds. Supports both new and existing facilities. Works with the site turnaround leadership to develop and implement work processes and tools that will facilitate the optimization of all phases of Turnaround Methodology in an effort to manage risks and reduce maintenance costs, while improving reliability. Requires expanded conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and broadens capabilities.
Responsibilities:
* Develops and implements a detailed work process for effectively executing project execution risk analysis (PERA) specific to turnarounds which are leveraged regionally.
* Implements new tools/technologies that allow for schedule compression and acceleration.
* Develops and implements leading and lagging metrics that characterize the effectiveness and efficiency of the Site Turnaround organization. Metrics need to be highly visible, easily obtainable, and transparent to turnaround managers and key stakeholders.
* Champions development of a site model that enables the use of optimization algorithms for turnaround frequency, duration and resource leveling.
* Partners with Site Reliability team to identify strategic plants to charter projects for TA driver elimination or strategy options.
* Utilizes Six Sigma to eliminate systemic defects with solutions that drive unparalleled performance.
* Leverages work process improvements and new tools to the Global Maintenance Tech Center.
Qualifications:
* A minimum of a bachelor's degree or relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E6 ranking or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant.
* A minimum of 3 years relevant experience.

* A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.
Able to meet the following physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations:
