Job DescriptionOracle PPM Production Support Analyst - Technology Specialist II - Digital and Technology Partners - Req#3021913The Information Technology Specialist II consults with business partners to define requirements and develop solution alternatives and estimates in Oracle Fusion Projects and Grants. This role will ensure the day-to-day operational activities are running as expected, resolving incidents, managing updates, performing configurations and performing root cause analysis. This person will also manage all vendors for this functional IT domain, and they will ensure the services being provided by the outsource provider(s) are consistently meeting SLA's. This person will be accountable for the support of all technology solutions in Oracle Fusion Project Foundation, Project Billing, Project Costing, and Grants management.Responsibilities
- Demonstrate deep understanding of core processes, including Project Foundation, Project Billing, Project Costing, and Grants management, ensuring alignment with business operations and objectives.
- Provide comprehensive post-production support for all functional aspects of Oracle Cloud, with a focus on Project Financials Management, Project Costing, Project Billing, Awards, and Grants.
- Oversee the daily support of Oracle Cloud SaaS applications, ensuring optimal system performance, resolving issues promptly, and minimizing system downtime.
- Continuously improve the functionality and efficiency of Oracle Fusion PPM modules and third-party systems, driving enhancements to meet evolving business needs.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and IT management to optimize operations and deliver competitive advantages through innovative technology solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day post-production issues, offering innovative solutions and proactive support as business requirements evolve.
- Support the organization during quarterly updates, including system regression testing and ensuring smooth transitions during new releases.
- Proactively identify, track, and escalate critical path issues or timeline risks, ensuring timely resolution to maintain system stability and meet business needs.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of system documentation, including post-production troubleshooting guides, knowledge base articles, and user training materials.
- Participate in root cause analysis of recurring issues, driving long-term solutions to prevent future disruptions and enhance system reliability.
- Maintain regular communication with internal teams to ensure alignment and collaboration for efficient issue resolution and improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in a technical discipline; Masters degree preferred
- Ten years of related experience, In depth knowledge of associated technology areas that could impact area of responsibility; healthcare technology experience preferred.
- 10+ years of Oracle Finance experience, with 3+ years of experience in Oracle Fusion Finance
- 5 + years of experience in leading and managing team
- Project experience and Subject Matter of Expert in Oracle Fusion Cloud modules of Project Management. Projects Costing, Projects Billing and Contracts and Grants Management
- Functional Oracle expertise in large US based Hospital and School
- Proven record of working with senior business leaders in developing technology roadmaps and strategies
- Cross-module experience with Oracle Fusion Supply Chain and General Ledger is a plus
- Experience in delivering IT solutions on time and on budget
- Experienced in Agile methodologies and their implementations in ERP package solutions
- Good working knowledge of Oracle Fusion Finance architecture and administration
- Exceptional customer service orientation and collaboration skills
- Oracle Projects Cloud certification preferred not required
Compensation StatementThe Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for this role is $120,000.00 - $180,060.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need.
