Job SummaryUnder the direction of the Director of Infrastructure, the Assistant Director performs a variety of responsible and complex duties related to end-user support of information technology-based systems, primarily in the areas of computer hardware/peripherals, and application software. Plans, directs, and supervises the operations of the Help Desk, System Support Technicians, and Staging Services; evaluates assigned personnel. The Assistant Director manages the day-to-day operations and performs tasks and projects assigned to the department. Performs other related duties as assigned.Requirements / QualificationsAny combination of a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. 5 years of increasingly responsible work experience that demonstrates the ability to manage a broad college-wide information technology program. At least two years of experience in directly supervising full-time personnel. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Requires a valid California driver's license.
