Job Purpose:We are looking for part-time lifeguards. Lifeguards are to ensure a safe, clean, and positive environment for all of our members, athletes, and guests.Duties and Certifications:Hold current American Red Cross Lifeguarding Certification or equivalentMaintain continuous surveillance of people in swimming poolsSupervise swimmers to ensure that they are swimming within the safety protocolsBe alert and proactive to prevent accidentsControl and report unruly behavior and evict individuals not adhering to behavior protocolsRespond quickly, intelligently, decisively and in accordance with established emergency and accident management proceduresPerform rescues in the event of drowning or swimming accidentsPerform first aid and CPR according to the demands of adverse situationsPerform pool chemical checks to ensure safety and hygieneMaintain accurate records of pool use and chemical levelsCheck safety of rescue tubes and buoys and perform needed maintenanceEnsure that all aquatic areas are cleaned and maintained on a daily basisAdditional Skills:* Customer service focus* Committed to team success* Must uphold the company standards of service, safety and security.Shifts Needed:* Early Mornings / Mornings* Mid- Day* Evenings* WeekendsHold current American Red Cross Lifeguarding Certification or equivalentPI122581c90e86-0833
