- PALS
- NIHSS
Job Requirements- 2 years of experience in ER nursing required.
- RNs must be able to mix their own medications & assist with respiratory meds/equipment/intubation.
Schedule Information- Shifts: 7a, 7p, 7p-7a - rotating days/nights.
- Weekend Requirements: 2 out of 6 weekends.
- Holiday Requirements: Yes, will consider RTO if given ahead of time.
- No call, OT opportunity if needed.
- 2 days of unit/department specific orientation.
Unit Specific Information- Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:4 for stable patients, 1:1 or 1:2 for critically ill patients.
- Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Diverse patient population with acute illness, severe injuries, chest pain, respiratory distress, neurological issues such as stroke, seizures, TBI, infectious diseases, and psychiatric emergencies.
