OverviewAt Davis, Bowen & Friedel, Inc., our Proposal Coordinator is an essential role in our company's growth through business acquisition, project management, and collaboration. As a part of a multi-disciplinary organization, the proposal coordinator works with several departments and vendors to prepare proposals and promote our services and expertise in a professional manner.Individuals in this role need to prepare a proposal schedule, perform research on the requirements, consult with clients and staff, write technical content, and design presentations for submission. Time management and meeting deadlines are crucial functions to this role.Responsibilities
  • Consult with DBF employees and vendors to create technical content relevant to the project
  • Research requirements to projects for current and potential clients to ensure all needs are met within the proposal
  • Prepare proposal schedules, vendor/client profiles, resumes, and project descriptions
  • Collaborate with Marketing Dept. to render graphics and finalize visual design of proposals for bid submission
Education & SkillsThe candidate should possess at least a 2-year college degree majoring in Marketing, Communications, or Construction Management. They should also have at least 2 years of related experience including proficiency in technical writing, SF 330 Codes and Forms, Adobe InDesign, and Microsoft Office 365.Key QualificationsThe preferred candidate should be:
