The primary purpose of this position is to (1) Provide Desktop & Server Administration support to the Houston, Cy-fair, Conroe, Texas City, Richmond, Liberty, Beaumont, Denver and other offices and employees of the law firm.
- Provide Prompt & Professional Technical Support to End Users
- Setup New Employees - Computer, Access Cards, Phone, Applications, etc.
- Troubleshoot & Diagnose Technical & Connection Issues Related to Desktops & Peripherals
- Install, Upgrade and Troubleshoot Desktop Operating System & Applications
- Maintain & Manage Desktops - Wipe, Refresh, Re-Image Desktop PC's
- Resolve Basic Issues with all Mission Critical Applications
- Troubleshoot Basic Voice and Connectivity Issues with PhonesEnsure Firms' IT Security Posture is Maintained at all TimesMaintain Excellent Documentation on IT Processes and Procedures
- Cross train on mailroom application and act as backup for mail processing
- Act as backup for routine mailroom runs
- Work on other IT related projects
Describe the Physical Demands & Work Environment
- While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to sit, reach with hands and arms to stoop, kneel, crouch, and talk or hear.
- The employee will occasionally be required to lift, stand, stoop and make use of safety approved stools and step ladders to reach high shelves.
- Requires heavy lifting (computers, UPS, boxes, furniture, etc.) generally exceeding 50lbs.
- A moderate amount of time will be spent typing and looking at the monitor, reviewing and creating reports.
What knowledge, skills and abilities will be necessary for this position to succeed?

- Proven work experience with PowerShell and Robotic automation tools like PowerAutomate
- Advanced knowledge of computer hardware, chipsets, memory modules & peripherals
- Knowledge of modern Operating Systems, software applications & remote access systems
- Proven experience with PowerShell, C++, Python or other programming/scripting language
- Ability to work in high-volume, fast paced environment
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Keeping up with the rapidly advancing technologies and relevant certifications
- Team player; willing to do things outside of his job description
- Excellent interpersonal skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer certifications showing competence with coding, desktop support, etc.
- The position requires minimum oversight and requires daily job expectations to be fulfilled
- The position reports to the Network Administrator
Bilingual in Spanish and English, 2 years Office Experience, Employee is expected to work 40-hour weeks, including rotating Saturdays).
- Be willing to learn additional scripting & other automation tools
- Be able and willing to cross train and backup IT staff
- Be willing to take on expanded roles as required
- Be able and willing to travel to remote offices, as needed
- Be willing to work after hours and on weekends if and when needed
- Must have valid driver's license
- Computer Science or Information Technology related Associate or Bachelor's degree.
- IT certifications relevant to Programming/Scripting Languages, Desktop Support, etc.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $20.00 - $25.00 Per Hour
