Position Summary:The Project Manager II is responsible for managing larger, more complex projects or multiple projects simultaneously. This role focuses on driving the full project lifecycle, developing and implementing project strategies, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. The Project Manager II serves as a key contributor to the organization, fostering innovation and supporting cross-functional teams. The Project Manager II is responsible for being in compliance with all safety policies, cGMPs, and SOPs.Job Responsibilities:
- Manage large-scale, complex projects or multiple projects concurrently, ensuring successful delivery on scope, timeline, and budget.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, manage schedules, and monitor resource allocation.
- Conduct risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively address issues or delays.
- Lead cross-functional teams, providing leadership and clear direction.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring strategic alignment and effective communication.
- Provide executive-level communication and reporting on project and program performance. Prepare and deliver presentations to key stakeholders.
- Drive the adoption of best practices in project management methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Collaborate with the Director of Execution, other project managers, and project coordinators to execute tasks and improve project outcomes.
- Provide mentorship to project coordinators and junior project managers.
- Drive continuous improvement in project management processes.
- Ensure self and direct reports are trained and work in compliance with applicable SOPs, cGMPs, regulatory requirements, safety, environmental, and company policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support project and team objectives.
Required Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.

- Experience with resource allocation and budget management.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software, including Microsoft Project or Procore.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems and drive innovation.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Must display sound judgment, ability to seek guidance, and provide clear directions.
- Strong analytical, listening, verbal/written communication, achieve accuracy without being rushed, efficient time-management, problem-solving, attention to detail, prioritization, organization, interpersonal, computer and conflict management skills.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Life Sciences, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of project management experience in a regulated industry.
- PMP certification required; additional certifications like PMI-ACP are a plus.
- Experience with pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and cGMP practices preferred.
