Responsibilities

+ Assess all new admissions, determining appropriateness for Registered Nurse delegation in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act

+ Ensure thorough and timely documentation of all care provided throughout the nursing department

+ Ensure thorough assessment of patients and completion of necessary follow up as applicable

+ Ensure thorough monitoring of patients

+ Provide supervision, support, guidance, and development of staff members

+ Ensure adherence to administrative processes within the nursing department

+ Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

+ Valid Texas Registered Nurse (RN) License in good standing

+ 3+ years of experience preferred

+ Ability to work effectively with patients, families, stakeholders, and team members

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills

+ Ability to interact effectively with patients and team members

+ Pass all pre-employment and employment verifications
