Job Summary:

Trademark Cosmetics, Inc. (“TCI”) is a private label manufacturer of cosmetics and beauty products located in Southern California. We are seeking a full-time IT Infrastructure Manager to provide operational direction and ensure stability of TCI's cloud & physical infrastructure platforms. The position helps TCI architect scalable, highly available cloud, networking, and telecommunications solutions. The IT Infrastructure Manager is also responsible for the technical support of computer hardware and software as well as problem resolution to end users, supporting user/device onboarding and offboarding, peripherals, and security/alarm systems. The position interacts with all TCI departments.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and management of major network, cloud, security, voice, access control and other facilities initiatives ensure that deliverables, costs, and timelines are being met.
  • Design, analyze, and implement network, cloud, security, voice, and access control system specifications and improvements.
  • On-going administration of TCI's network of ISPs, cloud services, security platforms, switches, routers, wireless, unified communications, servers and storage systems.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of information security policies, procedures, standards, and guidance.
  • Maintain an understanding of current technology relating to information security, data privacy and business continuity.
  • Support end users of the company's Cloud services including M365 Entra ID, Office Suite and Cloud-based back up services.
  • Provide friendly and responsive technical support to all Trademark Cosmetics users, by fielding support calls, chat, email, and/or other communication from users with inquiries regarding software, connectivity, printing, and similar concerns.
  • Provide dependable, timely and effective consultation with users to determine steps taken to identify and resolve problems.
  • Procure and deploy IT Equipment to end users.
  • Manage key vendors and third-party suppliers to ensure they fulfill their SLAs and obligations.
  • Schedule installations and upgrades in accordance with established IT policies and procedures, and in coordination with TCI leadership, staff, service providers and outside vendors.
  • Drive automation of standard operating procedures for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain a comprehensive hardware and software configuration database/library of all supporting documentation and diagrams.
  • Create custom reports for users and departments, develop procedure guides and training materials, and perform user training.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and collaborate with team members with respect to documentation and implementation of these process improvements.
  • Build strong relationships with business leaders and act as an escalation point for issues.
  • Ensure administrative activities are performed in a timely manner and with an appropriate level of quality.
  • Perform other hardware and software technical support or project tasks as assigned.

Required Education, experience and abilities:

  • While a bachelor's degree in computer science or related field is preferred, should possess at a minimum an associate's degree or certification(s) for the technical responsibilities described above.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of prior experience in an IT senior engineering or analyst role
  • Experience architecting and securing ISPs, cloud and security platforms, networks, telephony, servers, and Active Directory / Entra ID.
  • High-level competency with all Microsoft products and software, and related processes.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting desktop operating systems and associated hardware and peripherals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical issues to technical and nontechnical employees.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong initiative and ability to multi-task to manage their workload.
  • Ability to plan over a 6–12-month time span.
  • Ability to quickly learn an array of computer hardware and software.
  • Ability to create custom reports.
  • Ability to develop procedure guides and training materials.
  • Demonstrated skills in wiring and cabling.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be willing to work in the office 4 days a week, on a 4 X 10 schedule.
