Local, boutique firm seeks a seasoned Senior Interior Designer who enjoys creating beautiful, unique spaces.

We are passionate about reshaping dental, dermatology, veterinary clinics, and med-spas throughout the Chicagoland area through beautiful and innovative design.

In the office we have a friendly group of Designers and Architects who collaborate to create these projects. Projects move quickly and we are continually improving our internal systems that help everyone stay organized and hit deadlines.

About The Senior Designer Position…

This role includes a wide variety of activities! We need a team member who can:

• Lead client meetings and maintain strong client relationships
• Overseeing Junior Designers as they model in Sketchup (+ occasional modeling also)
• Coordinate with vendors regarding product availability, lead time, and pricing
• Select of Finishes & Fixtures
• Select of Art & Furniture
• Manage the Finish Schedule and Materials Worksheet
• Keep the design portions of projects on budget
• Provide mentorship and leadership to other designers in the office
• Coordinate effectively with internal teams: construction, architecture, design
• Manage the Design Process for multiple projects simultaneously
• Hit internal design deadlines
• Track design time for better management
• Continually look for ways to improve our process

Management Style: Must be able to self-manage & effectively lead others

Education: Bachelor's Degree

Software: Sketch Up / Adobe Suite / Google Suite / Microsoft Suite / Pinterest

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, In-Office
