**Job Title:** Physician - Child Neurologist**Job Specialty:** Neurology - Child Neurology**Job Duration:** 13 weeks**Shift:** Day - 5x8 - 9am - 5pm, 40 hours per week**Guaranteed Hours:** Information not provided**Experience:** Minimum years of experience not specified**License:** Board Certification required, minimum Board Certification Eligible**Certifications:**- ACLS- ATLS- BLS- PALS**Must-Have:** AHA is required for life support certifications**Job Description:**- Full-time coverage needed with occasional collaboration with part-time staff and additional locums.- Primarily clinic duties with potential future call coverage.- Shift: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.- Beeper call with scheduled patients during weekday office hours for a lighter schedule.- Average of 10 patients per day.- Department includes a sleep lab, children's hospital, and neurodiagnostics with long-term video EEG monitoring.- Outpatient EEG and neurosurgery services available.- Facility Trauma Level 2 with Pediatric Level 3. **Specialty Skills Preferred:**- Neurology Radiologic exam interpretation- Diagnostic/therapeutic taps- Lumbar puncture- Subdural taps- Thrombolytic therapy- Nerve and muscle biopsies- EEG and EMG- NCV tests- Evoked potentials- Pain management procedures- Peripheral nerve blocks- Spinal/paraspinal/epidural blocks- Botulinum toxin administration- Sleep studies- Disability evaluation **Requirements:**- No malpractice claims; pending claims are not accepted. - Estimated credentialing timeframe of 60 days. - Fellowship in related field preferred.
