Job Title:Physician - Orthopedic SurgeonJob Specialty:Orthopedic SurgeryJob Duration:13 weeksShift:Varied 24-hour call coverage when on service at a Level I trauma centerGuaranteed Hours:Not specifiedExperience:Minimum years of experience not specifiedLicense:Michigan License requiredCertifications:Board Certified in OrthopedicsMust-Have:- Board Certified in Orthopedics- Michigan License- Clean malpractice and background check- COVID Vaccine required- DEA confirmation requiredJob Description:- Seeking a skilled and dedicated Orthopedic Surgeon for a temporary to permanent position at a Level I trauma center.- Responsible for 24-hour call coverage when on service at the trauma center.- Handle an average of 3-4 surgical cases per day.- Perform orthopedic surgical cases for trauma, adults, pediatrics, geriatric, and general orthopedic cases.- Required to handle all trauma presentations including fractures and dislocations.- Must complete a background check and fingerprinting.- Credentialing will be required, with a typical timeframe of 45-60 days.- Malpractice insurance, flight, hotel, and rental car reimbursement provided.- An opportunity for permanent placement after the initial 13-week period.
