**Job Title:** Locum Tenens Physician**Job Specialty:** Obstetrics and Gynecology**Job Duration:** 13 weeks**Shift:** Day - 5x8 - 9am - 5pm, 40 hours per week**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified**Experience:** Minimum years of experience not specified**License:** Must have a Tennessee State License and Tennessee Medicaid**Certifications:**- ACLS- BLS- PALS- Other certifications as required**Must-Have:** Board Certified or Board Certification Eligible**Job Description:**- Provide obstetrics and gynecology care in a Level 4 trauma facility- Work in a department with 16 beds- Handle low and high risk pregnancies- Perform and interpret OB ultrasounds, including Level I, Level II, and targeted (anatomic)- Conduct amniocentesis procedures- Manage routine and complicated deliveries, including vaginal, low forceps, and multiple births- Make decisions regarding c-sections and manage breech presentations and abruptions- Perform surgical gynecology, both open and laparoscopic, including procedures like tubal ligation, LOAs, ovary removal, and cystectomy- Laser certification is preferred**Note:** The facility does not require office or minor gynecology procedures like IUD, colposcopy, or cryosurgery, nor does it require VBACs or repair of 3rd & 4th-degree lacerations. Estimated credentialing timeframe is 7 days, and a fellowship of 2 is required.
