Required Education and Experience:
- Graduation from high school or GED equivalent.
- 18 years of age or older.
- Three (3) months officiating experience at the high school or adult level for applicable sport; or
- 12 months experience as a player or coach of an organized team for applicable sport.
Preferred Qualifications:
- OSAA Soccer Official certification.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
Available Schedule:
- Schedule will vary based on need and availability.
- Typical shifts are normally Monday, Wednesday, or Thursday 5:45 PM - 9:40 PM, with occasional youth soccer events on weekends.
Compensation & Information on Benefits The anticipated hiring range for the position is $22.49 (first step) to $23.62 (second step).Directly related experience and qualifications will be evaluated alongside others who perform work of comparable character as required by Pay Equity Law. Three steps are included in this salary range, allowing opportunity for annual movement through the steps. INCLUDED BENEFITS:
- Oregon Public Employee Retirement System (PERS) retirement contributions paid by employer for part-time, year-round positions.

- Ensure the safety of participants.
- Officiate games according to set rules and with fairness and respect to all participants and spectators.
- Officiate assigned games for leagues and tournament play.
- Make proper calls on command; accept criticism.
- Communicate effectively with league participants.
- Report any problems with coaches, players, parents, or spectators to the Recreation Supervisor.
- Perform other related duties as required.

- Must have the ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others in the workplace.
