We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team! As a Recruiter you will be responsible for finding, sourcing, attracting and hiring top talent for Common Citizen.ResponsibilitiesOutlined below is what we see you doing at this point in time. We are a fast-growing company looking for people that are excited to grow along with us. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications.
  • Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives.
  • Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job board/newspapers/colleges etc.
  • Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media etc.
  • Screen candidates resumes and job applications.
  • Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule.
  • Assess applicants' relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes.
  • Onboard new employees in order to become fully integrated.
  • Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices.
  • Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team.
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process.
  • Promote company's reputation as best place to work .
The Experience You Bring and the Skills we Need:
  • Problem solving skills
  • BS/MS in Human Resources Management or relevant degree preferred.
  • Proven work experience as a Recruiter (either an in-house recruiter or a staffing agency recruiter) with cannabis experience preferred.
  • Hands on experience with various selection processes (video interviewing, phone interviewing, reference check etc).
  • Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS).
  • Hands-on experience with recruiting software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) or Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong decision-making skills.
  • This is a dynamic team, and as such daily tasks may vary, resulting in a fast paced and lively work environment.
Physical Requirements
  • Regularly required to sit for long periods of time
  • Use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • Reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
  • Occasionally required to stand and walk.
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
  • Comfortable working in a greenhouse environment (tolerance of heat & humidity)
