Job TitleBusiness AnalystLocationAlliance Pointe HQ Office - Urbanna, VA 23175 US (Primary)Job TypeFull-timeJob DescriptionAlliance Pointe has an immediate opening for a Business Analyst for the support of the FMCSA Office of Policy, Strategic Planning, and Regulations in rulemaking and policy development efforts.The Business Analyst shall be aware of, understand, and abide by the U.S. Department of Transportation FMCSA established policies, regulations, and safety practices.This is a REMOTE position with occasional meetings at the FMCSA office.
Responsibilities:- Support strategic plan development
- Assist with identifying process improvements
- Assist with program evaluations and provides technical writing support prior to publishing
- Support development of the Annual Performance Report
- Support communication efforts to disseminate information regarding FMCSA programs throughout the agency
- Provide reports and briefs for senior leadership
- Provide trend analysis and studies
- Document standardized processes and procedures
- Provide consulting and training in all areas for execution within the agency
- Provide guidance and support to our FMCSA team members
- Support research efforts and literary studies related to Program Evaluations
- Other tasks to be specified on the individual Call Order
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in a related field
- Ability to pass a background check
- Experience with evaluating programs for improvement opportunities
- Experience analyzing and presenting qualitative and quantitative data to support findings and recommendations in project reports
