Job Description :

AmesburyTruth is looking for a Facilities Engineer to join our team. This role responsible for facilities and maintenance projects management, project scope management, timeline development, financial calculations, designing, developing, installing, managing, maintaining facility, equipment, and processes. We are looking for someone with knowledge of building codes and equipment maintenance who is able communicate and collaborate effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directly develop facilities plans for renovation or new equipment or construction projects involving production areas, office areas, new equipment installation, and other misc. types of equipment or building space
  • Work with outside contractors to do repairs and develop facilities plans for renovation or new construction projects
  • Work with Production, Manufacturing Engineers and Project Managers on new area layouts
  • Develop project budgets for equipment repairs, upgrades, exchanges, and renovation / construction projects
  • Generate construction drawings using AutoCAD and develop written project specs for bidding
  • Obtain outside contractor bids for renovation / construction projects
  • Manage internal maintenance and outside construction contractors working on equipment repairs, building renovation / construction projects
  • Provide project status updates
  • Complete final equipment repairs, building renovation / construction project as built documentation
  • Compliance with all applicable federal, state, county, city and company laws, codes, regulations, and standard operating procedures
  • Compliance with site Environmental, Health & Safety policies and procedures
  • Ensure equipment projects and building renovation / construction project budgets and schedules meet requirements
  • Provide engineering support of the maintenance staff to improve equipment and building resilience and maintainability

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or chemical, engineering.
  • Five years of related experience
  • Lean Six Sigma Experience preferred, demonstrated by successful completion of a major improvement project.
  • Ability to work in an unstructured environment while making decisions quickly
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite applications
  • Ability to lead a team-based approach to decision making
  • Previous manufacturing and/or maintenance experience
  • Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and practices
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to get results through mentoring others
  • Effective coaching, facilitation, presentation, and team building skills
  • Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
  • Have working knowledge of NEC code, NFPA 70E, its interpretation and implementation
