As a Quality Assurance Technician at E-Switch, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that both incoming and outgoing products consistently meet quality standards, aligning with customer expectations. You will be responsible for performing inspections, using a variety of measuring tools such as calipers, X-Ray machines, dial indicators, and pin gauges. Additionally, you will be involved in preparing and maintaining inspection records, entering data into the ERP system, and collaborating with the Quality Control Supervisor on various inspection tasks.
This role is an onsite 5 days a week.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
To ensure that both incoming and outgoing products meet quality control standards for us to best meet the customers' expectations. Full understanding and capable of using all standard Q.C. measuring tools, e.g., calipers, X-Ray, dial indicator, pin gauges, etc. Must be willing to use other measuring devices and testing equipment required for checking products to meet our quality standards.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Inspect incoming products per Inspection Procedures (IP).
· Inspect incoming products per CAD drawing and review against (IP).
· Prepare and maintain receiving inspections and records measurements per Inspection Procedures (IP).
· Enter data into ERP system.
· Help in other inspection areas as seen fit by Quality Control Supervisor.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
KEY BEHAVIORS AND EXPECTATIONS:
QUALIFICATIONS:
· High School diploma.
· Attention to detail.
· 1-2 years experience in an incoming Quality Control Department, inspecting small parts/components.
· Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, optical comparator, pin gauges, etc. preferred
· Capable of reading detailed drawings.
