Supervision Exercised: N/A

Location: Mountain Iron or Rogers, Minnesota (on-site position). Travel to other locations will be required on a regular basis.

Reporting to the Quality Manager, the QMS Assistant will ensure that all documentation used in the facilities is controlled and compliant with Heliene's ISO Procedures. The QMS Assistant will also participate in internal and process specific audits to provide evidence of competency and effectiveness of training the operational and quality personnel. The QMS Assistant will perform standard office duties and participate in and track meeting minutes and action items.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintains and updates all controlled documentation for the facilities.
  • Ensures approved documents are reflected on the Master List.
  • Physically issues and removes documents for the facility.
  • Updates Work Instruction and Criteria Binders.
  • Review documents for needed updates.
  • Assists in the development, implementation, and verification of processes and logs.
  • Conducts audits to show the effectiveness of the training taking place.
  • Observe and interact with operations, quality, and maintenance to gauge the effectiveness of communication and to identify gaps in the processes.
  • Collect the determined data from the KPI's and update or create the needed reports and presentations.
  • Filing, record keeping, tracking meeting minutes and action items.

Minimum Qualifications:

Two-year certificate in business administration with at least one year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

  • Working computer knowledge and strong understanding of the Microsoft Suite and SharePoint.
  • Experience in developing presentations required.
  • Experience working with an ISO9001 or equivalent Quality Management System preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to perform repetitive motion tasks for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to tolerate an assembly line environment.
  • Must be able to team lift to 20 pounds

Salary Range: $45,000 to $60,000
