Insta360's Los Angeles team is responsible for overseeing Business Development, Marketing, PR and Sales across North America. We are seeking a highly motivated, organized and hardworking Event Coordinator, Sr. Event Coordinator of Event Manager who will source, pitch and execute year-round offline events in the US meant to raise brand awareness, educate users, drive sales/partner leads and promote our fast-growing brand.
Event Manager Responsibilities:
Research, plan and execute all North American year-round events. This includes expos/trade shows, sponsored sports, photography and other key vertical events, workshops and other online/offline educational opportunities.Recruit, plan, and manage staffing support, including scheduling and coordination, to ensure smooth event execution.Handle travel logistics for event staff, booking and managing arrangements to align with budget and timing needs.Contribute to the creative design and layout of event booths, ensuring an engaging and visually appealing presence that aligns with brand objectives.Manage and continue to build out Insta360's network of nationwide event ambassadorsWork closely with VP of Marketing in Los Angeles and Events lead at Insta360 headquarters to confirm event goals, KPIs, and specific implementation plans each quarter.Coordinate event responsibilities and roles with various internal teams (marketing, PR, sales, logistics and social media team).Collaborate cross-functionally with influencer, partnerships, email, and social media teams to maximize event visibility and engagementMaintain a calendar of events and implement a system that enables and anticipates long-term planning and effective event management.Work with brand and enterprise partners on joint educational events for new and existing users.Collaborate with influencer marketing team to host offline events for influencers around new product releases.Provide post-event analysis, budget recaps and participant feedback as well as incorporate learning into future plans.As we are a small team, this role will likely be required to support other department projects at times, including but not limited to – PR initiatives, product launches, influencer marketing, office management, video production and enterprise projects.Requirements:
BS/MS in Marketing or applicable areas of study3+ years experience in Event Management/Marketing/Advertising/PRExcellent in project management skills, communication and interpersonal skillsCollaborative, motivated and excels in team-oriented work styleChinese speaking is a plus
