Job Description :

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to support the management of a mixed-use commercial real estate portfolio in the Dallas area. This in-person role involves collaborating closely with the General Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, tenant satisfaction, and the successful oversight of property-related initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to tenant inquiries and investigate and resolve tenant complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Dispatch work orders to operations / security team and ensure timely completion.
  • Assist with month-end close processes, compiling vendor agreements and bids for budgeting.
  • Maintain accurate accounts payable/receivable records, rent rolls, and ensure timely rent collection.
  • Prepare and process monthly billings; assist with rent collections and implement procedures for delinquent accounts.
  • Prepare and review lease packages for senior review and landlord approval.
  • Conduct periodic property inspections and manage tenant data and work orders.
  • Coordinate with vendors on property maintenance, ensure compliance with contracts and insurance requirements, and recommend improvement projects.
  • Support marketing efforts for new leases and tenant retention strategies.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to resolve accounts payable and vendor-related issues.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets by updating contracts and obtaining bids.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in Assistant Property Management or property support.
  • Strong financial acumen and accrual base knowledge.
  • Ability to multi-task and proactively manage projects in an efficient manner.
  • Proven experience in working in a cross-functional environment in the management of complex real estate.
  • Experience in commercial real estate management, particularly mixed-use assets.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, vendors, and ownership representatives.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office/Office 365 and YARDI or similar property management software is required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively present information to tenants, management, and staff.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
