Who we're looking for:

Detailers will design and detail stairs, guardrail, and miscellaneous metal products from structural and architectural drawings and specifications and following all applicable building codes. Shop drawings will be created using AutoCad. This is a position that requires a strong work ethic, willingness to learn and assist, to help complete projects in a timely fashion.

Your workday might look like this:

• Review structural and architectural drawings and specifications for conflicts/questions.
• Miscellaneous steel and Structural Steel detailing.
• Work with Project Management to create RFIs.
• Use AutoCAD and Tekla to create shop drawings and erection plans.
• Adhere to applicable building codes and company design standards.
• Revise drawings as directed through accepted bulletins and contract changes Assist in the definition of contract bid packages and coordinate scopes of work

You need to have:

• Experience with Misc. and structural steel detailing using AutoCAD and Tekla
• Comprehension of and ability to read blueprints, welding symbols, etc.
• Highly organized and committed to producing accurate and complete work
• Friendly personality and willing to work as part of a team
• 5+ years of active structural steel detailing experience
