Job Title: Account Manager (Oil & Gas and Petrochemicals)

Ovolifts is seeking an experienced Account Manager to drive technical sales in the oil & gas and petrochemical industries, with a primary focus on the Gulf region, as well as opportunities across the United States and globally.

The ideal candidate will have established client relationships across multiple operators and locations, which can be leveraged to quickly facilitate introductions and deliver solutions to customer challenges using Ovolifts' innovative offerings.

As a leading provider of Engineered Touchpoint Access solutions, Ovolifts supports contractors servicing oil & gas and petrochemical operators. In this dual-role position, you will:

  • Drive marketing initiatives to generate new business from both contractors and operators to cultivate leads, and develop client relationships.
  • Lead on-site activities, including training, site supervision, consultation, and mobilizing tools.
  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts to ensure ongoing satisfaction and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate business through managing existing clients and developing new leads.
  • Conduct client demonstrations, training, and technical support.
  • Represent Ovolifts at industry events, including conferences, trade shows, and lunch-and-learn sessions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospective customers.
  • Assist with the development of marketing strategies to promote Ovolifts tools and services.
  • Conduct site visits / surveys with customers at job sites to collect information and provide technical know-how.
  • Manage the mobilization and deployment of pipe jacks at client sites.
  • Conduct training sessions for contractors on the safe and effective use of our tools.
  • Provide onsite consultation and supervision to ensure successful project execution.
  • Providing site support and having a hands-on understanding of how Ovolifts equipment works.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or vocational training/certification.
  • 15 years field experience in the oil and gas or petrochemical industry.
  • Mechanical/technical aptitude, safe work habits, a good working knowledge of equipment operations and mechanical functions .
  • Strong diagnostic skills, works with minimal supervision, customer service oriented, a problem solver, reliable, ethical, able to adapt to the people and environment around them - customers, suppliers, co-workers, and manufacturer's employees.
  • Must communicate professionally, respectfully, and honestly at all times and communication is to be clear and language is to be profanity free while employee demeanor is to be calm and composed.
  • Strong technical sales experience and ability to demonstrate products effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to find creative solutions.

Requirements:

  • Physical capability to work in various positions, including sitting, standing, kneeling, squatting, walking, and driving.
  • Ability to lift, carry, or move objects weighing 50 pounds or more.
  • Travel up to 30%, both nationally and internationally, to meet with clients, manage projects and attend industry events.
  • Regularly exposed to extreme weather elements, including wet and/or humid conditions, extreme cold and extreme heat, moving mechanical parts and equipment, and noise level in the working environment can be moderate to high.
  • Background check, pre-employment drug testing and clean driving record required.
  • Personal appearance must be neat and clean.
