Job Description :

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Responsible for safety adherence and ensuring all service standards are met.

* Responsible for hiring, coaching, motivating, performance management, pay increases, disciplinary actions and dismissals following the company policy and procedures.

* Engage in the business, take ownership for the function, and work cross-functionally with other regional operations teams to set standards, drive consistency and determine best practices to be communicated across the company.

* Monitor, manage and improve the efficiency of support services and facilitate the coordination and communication between support functions.

* Responsible for hiring, retention, development and training of the operations team.

* Review financial statements and data. Utilize financial data to improve profitability.

* Prepare and control operation budgets.

* Facilitate inventory and plan effective strategies for the financial well-being of the company.

* Manage quality and employee productivity

* Manage maintenance of equipment and machinery, and provide technical support where needed.

* Liaison with top management and assist in the development of strategic plans for 3rd party services.

* Any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

* Full-time salary position.

Skills/Capabilities and Education:

* College degree preferred (business, industrial technology, engineering) or equivalent related work experience.

* Minimum of 5 years' experience in the natural gas compression industry.

* Must possess strong influence and teaming skills in order to facilitate solutions and good working relationships with their direct reports and team, support groups and other operating areas.

* Extensive knowledge of natural gas compression equipment and processes.

* Strong organizational skills.

* Must be able to exercise discretion and independent judgment.

* Proficiency in MS Office applications.

* Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

* Strong communication skills written and verbal.

* Experience in team-related organizations and adept at conflict management.

* Experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management.

* Strong business acumen and utilization and management of human capital.

* Ability to understand written and verbal communication from the company and supervisor including training, procedures, instructions, etc.

* Applicant must have the ability to legally work in the U.S.

Working Conditions:

* Travel is required and is expected to be approximately 50% of the time worked.

* Periodic lifting requirements in excess of 50 lbs.

* Ability to stand and walk on uneven and varied terrain, climb ladders and stairs, stoop, squat, kneel, crouch and crawl depending on the task requirements.

* Exposure to extremes in temperature and weather conditions depending upon assigned location.

* Exposure to high noise levels (in excess of 85dBA), as well as exposure to potentially hazardous chemicals and materials.

* The position requires ability to read and interpret data as well as having the capacity to professionally and effectively communicate (verbally and written) with both company and outside personnel.

* Employee will be a member of a team that is geographically dispersed.

* Working conditions in natural gas compression vary from one job site to another. Some job sites are indoors in compressor stations while other sites are outside, exposed to a variety of weather conditions. The work environment may be in hazardous locations. There is a strong emphasis on safety while working with heavy equipment and machinery.
