Key job responsibilities
  • Be responsible for system architecture and development for new product initiatives and feature development.
  • Investigate, prototype and deliver new and innovative system solutions.
  • Troubleshooting technical issues to ensure the success of new product launches, peeling through different layers of software stacks to root cause and solve the problems.
  • Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high quality software. Establish architectural principles, select design patterns and then mentor team members on their appropriate application.
  • BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
  • 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.
  • Strong proficiency in one of the compiled programming languages: Java, C++, or Rust.
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Operating Systems internals, Hands-on experience with device development using Android or Linux.
