Description

As the Director of Operations, you will report directly into the President and will be responsible for the following:

• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Oversee all aspects of the manufacturing process, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulations.
• Lead strategic planning for operational initiatives, including capacity planning and process improvements.
• Create and oversee the budget for the plant.
• Manage a diverse team of professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product development and innovation.
• Track and report on operational performance, identifying areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and organizational policies.
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers and customers.

Profile

A successful Director of Operations should have:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Operations, Business Administration, Engineering, or relevant discipline.
• 8+ years of experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• In-depth knowledge of operational strategies and methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, and Project Management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A track record of implementing process improvements and driving operational efficiency.
• Experience in strategic planning and execution.
• An understanding of quality standards and industry regulations.
