To learn more, please visit: This is a hybrid position with in-office flexibility 2-3 days a week.SummaryThe Corporate Accountant will be a member of NFP's Corporate Accounting and Finance Department, reporting to SVP, Corporate Controller. They are responsible for performing general accounting and financial analysis functions, including planning, organizing, managing and preparing a variety of related financial analyses and reports, with latitude for independent judgment, discretion and decision-making. Must establish and maintain good lines of communication with other Company personnel impacting accounting operations. Assist staff in accounting for with other matters, as necessary.Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to, the following)
- Preparing and maintaining journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
- Provide variance and fluctuation analysis of financial data.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.
- Participate in special projects.
- Communicate with NFP's external auditors for interim and year-end testing.
- Work with other department personnel on attaining clarification and/or resolution on matters that may arise.
Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities
- Must be proficient in Excel, Word, and be able to adapt to/understand various accounting and reporting systems.
- Possess professional strength in reconciliations and analyses.
- Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills are a must.
- Ability to prioritize and manage work processes/projects efficiently and effectively to meet set deadlines (daily, semi-monthly, and monthly).
- Needs to be very detail oriented and handle multi-tasks at a fast pace.
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree with a major in accounting or finance is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role.
- GAAP and financial reporting experience.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registration
- CPA certification preferred.

The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.NFP and You...
