Job Details- Minimum Experience: 2 years; 1st Timers not accepted
- Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics
- 42 Bed Unit with mostly post-surgical patients; Ortho patients, Urology patients, Colorectal patients, Bariatrics patients, Neurology patients, General surgery patients
- Ratio / Census: 1:6; 42 Rooms
- Unit Systems: Epic (Required), Pyxis, SBAR
- Scrub Color: Royal Blue
- RTO: MAX 7 days
- Weekends: Every other weekend
- Floating: Yes
- Call Requirements: Not specified
- HOLIDAYS: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.
Job Requirements- BLS - Basic Life Support
- State License verification (if applicable) - within 30 days prior to start date
- Annual Nursys (RN, LPN/LVN, AP) within 30 days prior to start date
- Background Check required within 30 days of start
- Required for RNs and LVNs by Aya only. Not required by Client. Not required for subcontractors.
Schedule Information- Contract Length: 12 weeks
- Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.
Unit Specific Information- 42 Bed Unit with mostly post-surgical patients; Ortho patients, Urology patients, Colorectal patients, Bariatrics patients, Neurology patients, General surgery patients
Additional Details- Photo ID Required
- Required for RN's in following specialties: PACU/Pre-op/Endo/CSU (if these areas accept pediatric patients), ER
- Required for all candidates.
