Job Details- Utilizes the nursing process to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients during a shift.
- Ensures safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable care of patients.
- Coordinates patients care through collaboration with the patient/family and healthcare team.
- Administers medication and treatments as prescribed by physician, or standard protocols and documents according to policy.
- Assumes responsibility for the clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel.
Job Requirements- At least one 13-week previous travel assignment required.
- Two (2) years current experience required in specialty.
Schedule Information- 12-hour Night Shift; start time 1900.
- Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs.
- On call, weekends and holidays may be required, per staff rotation.
Unit Specific Information- EMR: EPIC experience preferred, but not required; can train on-site.
- Orientation: 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training.
- Scrubs: Required and not provided by the facility. May wear ANY solid color.
Additional Details- NO HOLIDAY RTO WILL BE APPROVED FOR TRAVELERS.
- Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from last day worked, in order to be considered for a travel position.
- State tax is passed through to your agency and will be reflected on your invoice.
