Job Details- Job Summary: Medical-Surgical w Tele - K Tower
- Facility: St Lukes Health-Memorial Lufkin
- Common diagnosis / Types of patients: CHF, diabetes, PNA, CKD, m/s tele
- Experience or 'Must have' skills: Great communication and time management
- Shifts & Scheduling: 12 hour shifts, scheduling by manager, cannot guarantee block scheduling
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required
- Holiday Requirement: Holidays are required
- Floating Requirements: Will float to all med/surg units.
Job Requirements- Required Certifications: n/a
- Are RN's required to titrate drips: n/a
- Common titratable &/or set rate drips: n/a
- Tele/Monitor Techs on this unit? Do RN's read strips?: Tele monitor techs monitor patients but RNs have to be able to read strips
- Charge Nurse/House Supervisor: Charge Nurse and House Supervisors and Nurse Educators available
- Are there Nurse Aides on this unit/Ratios: PCTs are present 12/1
- RT/Equipment (ie Cpap, Bipap, High Flow): Cpap, Bipap, and high flow patients
Schedule Information- Shifts & Scheduling: 12 hour shifts scheduling is by manager, cannot guarantee block scheduling
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required
- Holiday Requirement: Holidays are required

- Ratios: 6/1
Additional Details- BLS required
- Scrub Color/Dress Code: Navy blue
- Unit/Department Specific Orientation: Kurth tower is all med/surg tele and department orientation is completed.
