- Learn and become an expert on the various machinery used in the production of nitrile gloves
- Perform inspections and preventive maintenance on industrial equipment and machinery
- Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- Respond to emergency repair situations as needed
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
- Manage inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies
- Assist in developing and implementing maintenance schedules and procedures
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment reliability and efficiency
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current with new technologies and maintenance techniques
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in industrial maintenance or related field preferred
- 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or similar role
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation systems
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends as needed
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various positions (standing, kneeling, climbing)
- Certifications in specific maintenance areas (e.g., welding, HVAC) are a plus
