This is an established fund with $10bn+ AUM looking to expand their existing fundamental team. Members of the team will work as the sole sub-sector specific expert and work in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Responsibilities
- Evaluate business models and financial statements of publicly listed companies, with a focus on the chemicals sector
- Build conviction around actionable trade ideas
- Monitor market trends across the chemicals industry
- Work with team members to improve research techniques
- Leverage alternative data, industry contacts and other resources
Requirements
- 2-6 years of experience in equity research covering chemicals
- Strong modeling skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and intellectual curiosity are a must
- Highly motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven record of success in professional and academic career
