The Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Chicago (EFGC) is a not-for-profit organization serving 44 counties in Illinois since 1946. We offer education, advocacy, and case management to people living with epilepsy, their families, and the communities in which they live, all in the service of helping our constituents seize the narrative back from epilepsy. About the Role

POSITION REPORTS TO: VP of Member Services

POSITION SUPERVISES: Clinical Manager, Senior Case Manager, and may supervise students or volunteers, as appropriate.

Pay range and compensation package

SALARY RANGE: $85,000-110,000

Salary is based on qualifications, experience, and skill sets of the individual.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the oversight and management of all daily operations within the clinical and case management departments.
  • Assist in program development, execution and evaluation of programs and services focused on increasing mental health wellness and social impact for EFGC member base.
  • Provide supervision and mentorship to senior level managers, ensuring the delivery of effective and evidence-based interventions.
  • Provide education/information about epilepsy, EFGC and related topics, both to individual members and to others in the community who request it. This may include attending wellness fairs, Consumer Conference and providing presentations to community groups.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders, including government agencies, community organizations, and healthcare providers, to enhance program accessibility and effectiveness.
  • Monitor and evaluate program outcomes, utilizing data-driven approaches to assess program effectiveness, measure impact and identify areas for improvement.
  • Oversee program budgeting and financial management of clinical and case management services, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and compliance with funding requirements.
  • Stay updated with current trends, research, and best practices in the field of mental health and case management, incorporating this knowledge into program development, staff training and service delivery.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for organizational leadership and external stakeholders as needed, effectively communicating program outcomes, challenges, and recommendation.
  • Follow all EFGC policies & procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum of an advanced degree in counseling/social work and LCSW/LCPC required or in process, with significant related experience. Minimum 3 years previous leadership/supervisory experience. Must have strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as demonstrated knowledge and skills needed to work successfully with persons with disabilities. Some evening and/or weekend work required.
