IMMEDIATE CALL CENTER REPRESENTATIVE NEEDED, START NEXT WEEKOPPORTUNITY TO WORK WITH ONE OF THE LARGEST INSURANCE/RETIREMENT BENEFIT ORGANIZATIONS IN THE AREAMUST BE FLEXIBLE BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 8AM-8PM MONDAY - FRIDAY (8 HOUR SHIFT ASSIGNED)WHITE PLAINS, NY (IN OFFICE, NOT REMOTE)$21/HRQualifications:+ 2 years of call center customer service experience+ Microsoft office proficient+ Type 35 WPMResponsibilities:Call Handling:+ Answer and direct incoming calls in a high-volume switchboard environment.+ Use a defined script and maintain an enthusiastic manner.Multi-tasking and Clerical Support:+ Perform various clerical tasks as assigned by the department.Call Center Traffic Reallocation:+ Analyze call center volume, productivity, and patterns.+ Assist management in reallocating and optimizing staffing levels to ensure quicker call response times.Retirement Call Center Support:+ Handle first-level calls from retirees and active participants of pension plans.+ Manage requests for direct deposit of pension checks and complete written pension verification requests.+ Provide check status to retirees during peak call periods.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00- Medical, dental & vision- Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital- 401(k) Retirement Plan - Pre-tax and Roth post-tax contributions available- Life Insurance (Voluntary Life & AD&D for the employee and dependents)- Short and long-term disability- Health Spending Account (HSA)- Transportation benefits- Employee Assistance Program- Time Off/Leave (PTO, Vacation or Sick Leave)Workplace TypeThis is a fully onsite position in White Plains,NY.Application DeadlineThis position will be accepting applications until Jan 20, 2025.About TEKsystems:We're partners in transformation.
