THE OPPORTUNITY
The Center is seeking a Project Director, RISE Project. The Project Director will lead the Center's RISE Project, focused on addressing the intersection of intimate partner violence and gun violence through community-based approaches and interventions with individuals who have caused harm. The Project Director will implement city-wide programs focused on community engagement and norms change, violence prevention, and engagement of individuals who are causing harm.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Qualifications: Master's degree and 4-5 years of experience or a Bachelor's degree and 6-7 years of experience in a position directly related to intimate partner violence, as well as at least 2-3 years of experience managing a team and supervising staff. This exciting position requires a creative self-starter who can accomplish tasks in a fast-paced environment. This position requires a flexible schedule with frequent travel across the five boroughs and regular evening and weekend hours. Candidates must be comfortable navigating interdisciplinary settings and must be willing to roll up their sleeves and be actively involved in day-to-day operations. Additionally, experience with transformative justice frameworks, community-based work, and community-based violence prevention is preferred.

Position Location: Bronx, NY with expected travel throughout the five boroughs.
Compensation: The compensation range for this position is $108,000 - $135,000 and is commensurate with experience.
