We offer competitive compensation and an extraordinary benefits package including health, dental and vision insurance, 401K with company matching, flexible spending accounts, paid holidays, three weeks paid time off, and more.Kadiak, LLC is seeking a Utility Plant Shift Engineer with a Top-Secret Clearance in Quantico, VA to ensure proper operation and maintenance of chillers, boilers, cooling towers, site buildings, associated equipment and electrical systems. Required to work rotational shifts, including days, evenings, nights, holidays and weekends as needed.
Responsibilities: - Monitor assigned equipment and systems locally and remotely.
- Operate building automation systems proficiently.
- Respond to alarms, and make periodic tours, recording required data in operating logs.
- Perform hourly logs of operating equipment.
- Be familiar with emergency plans and casualty responses.

Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: - A minimum of 5 years hands-on experience with maintaining mechanical equipment for a large commercial or industrial complex.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities maintenance with thorough understanding of electrical systems, controls, chillers, generators, and life safety systems, including 3 years related experience in data center or mission critical environments.
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload with minimal supervision.
- Must possess an active HVAC Journeyman or Third Grade Stationary Engineers License in Virginia, Maryland or the District of Columbia.
- EPA - CFC Universal Certification.
- Must have technical knowledge of Building Automation System, Centrifugal Chillers, Air Cooled Chillers, Fire and Water Tube Boilers, Air Handling Units, Variable Air Volume, Fan Coil Unit and Chemical Treatment.
- Must be familiar with emergency systems including redundancy, isolation, change over, and shut down of all utilities and mission critical systems.
- Top-Secret security clearance
