Role Description:
The Account Executive position understands the fundamentals and importance of client service. This position operates with a sense of urgency; while remaining detail-oriented, efficient, and delivering value-added ideas.
The Account Executives understands key client information and client needs, including business strategy, industry issues, products and services, key customers and competitors.
The Account Executives provides client service administration including preparing client status and activity reports, attending meetings and conference calls, compiling media and competitor coverage, scheduling and logistics.
The Account Executives conducts research, outlines, writes, edits and proofreads materials, including media advisories, pitch letters/emails, biographies, reports and fact sheets.
The Account Executive assists with research including analysis of media coverage and online conversations.
The Account Executive coordinates projects and events including inviting media, preparing press kits, attending events and preparing reports.
The Account Executive participates in the new business process, including research, audits and proposal prep.
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in a relevant field from an accredited college of university is required.
2 4 years experience in Communications Marketing and/or related fields, including research, advertising, management consulting, media or publishing
Expected competencies include:
Strong relationships with the media and the ability to secure media placements
Understands internal operations and inter-team cooperation.
Demonstrates behaviors consistent with ColorComms values, Code of Ethics and Business Conduct.
Aids in the implementation of new capabilities.
Stays up to date with emerging technologies and trends

*Candidates must already live in NYC or the surrounding Metro Area
SALARY - $50K-$64K
*salary range depends on experience level
