What you'll do...
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in an industrial setting, ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot issues with electrical control systems, manufacturing machinery, and plant utility infrastructure
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints to effectively execute installations and repairs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing efficiency and reducing downtime.
- Maintain inventory of electrical supplies and complete work orders in a timely manner, documenting activities in relevant tracking systems.
- Respond to emergency situations and provide technical support to other departments as needed.
What we're looking for...
- 3+ years of experience working as an electrician in fast-paced manufacturing environments
- Proficiency reading technical drawings and schematics, with knowledge of PLC programming and control systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and professional competency with electrical systems, wiring, circuits, and related equipment.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety procedures and regulations related to electrical work.
- Working knowledge of plastic injection molding equipment preferred
- Physical capability to work in confined spaces and at heights
- Experience with ISO or similar quality systems in manufacturing
