Description:Nippon Dynawave Packaging is seeking a dedicated and experienced EDI Integration and Application Support Specialist to join our Information Technology team in Longview, WA. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and supporting EDI solutions and related system integrations to ensure seamless business operations.General Responsibilities:
  • EDI Solutions Development:
    • Design, implement, and manage EDI solutions to support and enhance business processes.
    • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve EDI and integration issues promptly
  • System Integration and Application Support:
    • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop and maintain system integrations.
    • Provide technical support for enterprise applications, ensuring high availability and performance.
    • Conduct root cause analysis for application and integration-related issues.
    • Manage application patching, testing, and deployments across DEV, QA, and production environments.
  • Technical Oversight:
    • Document processes, configurations, and changes for knowledge sharing and support.
    • Perform complex configuration, testing, and change management activities.
    • Monitor and optimize application performance, working effectively with vendors and IT teams.
  • Collaboration and Project Management:
    • Manage small projects and ensure alignment with business objectives.
    • Participate in IT on-call rotation for after-hours support
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:Required:
  • Strong knowledge of EDI standards and protocols (e.g., X12, EDIFACT, AS2, FTP).
  • Proficiency with integration platforms and tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, IBM Sterling).
  • Expertise in troubleshooting application and integration-related issues.
  • Familiarity with SQL databases and scripting for process automation.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
Preferred:
  • Experience with ERP systems and enterprise-level integrations.
  • Knowledge of APIs, JSON, XML, and other data formats.
  • Prior experience in application lifecycle management and support.
  • Knowledge of process automation and AI tools.
  • Familiarity with tools like Oracle SQL Developer, Toad, and PowerShell scripting.
  • Linux command line proficiency.
