Role Overview:

We're looking for a skilled operations manager with proven experience handling complex cross-functional programs in an enterprise organization. You will bring extensive knowledge of program and project management processes and procedures, software development methodologies, and program management best practices. As a senior leader, you will drive major strategic initiatives from beginning to end and identify and drive opportunities for collaboration across the Salesforce ecosystem.

Strong candidates for this role will have experience driving cross-functional initiatives at scale and be well versed in go-to-market motions, product development, cross-cloud collaboration, as well as planning, organizing, and collaborating with teams to execute on product vision and operational excellence.

Note: This is an Individual Contributor role.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a key member of the MuleSoft leadership team, driving strategic planning and operations across the organization.
  • Be a key liaison across the global teams to ensure consistent communication and alignment.
  • Lead programs by achieving alignment across teams and functions on program scope, vision, business goals, release planning, delivery schedules, and program structure.
  • Run meetings with program key stakeholders to help make key decisions, remove obstacles, and address key program issues.
  • Develop strong partnerships with key functional stakeholders to drive focus on business goals.
  • Provide visibility to program status on an ongoing basis through push status reporting.
  • Anticipate and remove obstacles with a sense of urgency.
  • Create a collaborative environment that fosters creativity, innovation, and learning.
  • Be a catalyst within the organization, helping advance our Product & Technology strategy globally.
  • Enable and empower a team of high-performing TPMs.
  • Preempt escalations by anticipating trouble spots.
  • Drive clear decision-making required to balance risk, effort, and timelines.
  • Lead and implement process improvements while managing active projects.
  • Facilitate the development of collaborative cross-team dependency solutions.
  • Foster an environment of ownership, transparency, and accountability.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10+ years experience managing technical, complex initiatives & projects from initiation to completion for a SaaS/PaaS based Product Development organization.
  • Ability to successfully partner with all functions across the entire company.
  • Experience with product development lifecycle and software development lifecycle.
  • Proven ability to work effectively and prioritize and organize your work.
  • Outstanding organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and feedback skills.
  • Ability to execute and manage performance within a cross-functional environment.
  • Experience managing projects with remote and global team members.
  • A related technical degree required.
