Job Description :

Responsibilities

  • Set up production files for production.
  • Evaluate finished pieces for quality and accuracy.
  • Unitize finished product for safe shipping.
  • Be self-motivated and effective time management skills.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally in all forms of communication with internal and external customers.
  • Adhere to Great Lakes Packaging's quality policy to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
  • Abide by all company policies and procedures, including practicing safe work habits.
  • Maintain regular attendance as required by your position.
Qualifications
  • Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop experience a plus but not required.
  • Working knowledge of Mac OS X system a plus but not required.
  • Knowledge of offset, digital and flexo printing a plus but not required.
  • Graphics arts industry experience a plus but not required.
  • Knowledge of Caldera RIP software for large and grand-format Print and Print-to-Cut applications a plus but not required.
  • Imaging and/or production experience preferred.
  • Excellent math and analytical skills required.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
  • Effective written and oral communications skills.
  • Computer skills - Mac and PC based platforms.
  • Software proficiency: Adobe Suite CC a plus but not required, Caldera software a plus but not required.
  • General knowledge of digital and offset printing processes a plus but not required.
  • High school diploma or GEB required.
  • Prior experience in corrugated industry preferred.
