Responsibilities
- Set up production files for production.
- Evaluate finished pieces for quality and accuracy.
- Unitize finished product for safe shipping.
- Be self-motivated and effective time management skills.
- Communicate effectively and professionally in all forms of communication with internal and external customers.
- Adhere to Great Lakes Packaging's quality policy to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
- Abide by all company policies and procedures, including practicing safe work habits.
- Maintain regular attendance as required by your position.
Qualifications
- Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop experience a plus but not required.
- Working knowledge of Mac OS X system a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of offset, digital and flexo printing a plus but not required.
- Graphics arts industry experience a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of Caldera RIP software for large and grand-format Print and Print-to-Cut applications a plus but not required.
- Imaging and/or production experience preferred.
- Excellent math and analytical skills required.
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
- Effective written and oral communications skills.
- Computer skills - Mac and PC based platforms.
- Software proficiency: Adobe Suite CC a plus but not required, Caldera software a plus but not required.
- General knowledge of digital and offset printing processes a plus but not required.
- High school diploma or GEB required.
- Prior experience in corrugated industry preferred.
