Location: Manhattan, New York City Start Date: ASAPA vibrant family in NYC, is seeking a dynamic and engaging Family Assistant/Nanny hybrid to care for their super spunky 3 ½-year-old. This family values someone proactive, creative, and fun who thrives in a lively environment and is excited to assist with both childcare and household tasks. Responsibilities:•Provide after-school care for a 3 ½-year-old, including school pick-ups, park outings, and engaging in creative play and activities.•Assist with light household and personal assistant duties, including errands, organizational tasks, and meal preparation for the child as needed.•Support developmental milestones with age-appropriate activities and learning opportunities.•Collaborate with parents to maintain a positive, fun, and structured environment.•Travel with the family as needed, including occasional summer days in the Hamptons and both domestic and international travel.•Work cooperatively with other household staff, maintaining a team-oriented attitude.•Maintain a pitch-in attitude, supporting the family with various tasks as needed. Qualifications:•Professional childcare experience with preschool-aged children.•College-educated preferred.•Driver's license required.•Energetic, proactive, and creative personality with a love for working with children.•Comfortable with domestic and international travel.•Knowledge of New York City and its resources for children is a plus.•Must be organized, responsible, and able to multitask in a dynamic environment. Schedule:•Monday through Thursday, starting around 12:30 PM and extending into the evening.•You are guaranteed 30 hours per week, with flexibility for additional hours as needed. Compensation/Benefits:•$35 per hour •Vacation, Sick time, Holidays (TBA) Basic Requirements: To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:•Confident and experienced with driving.•Authorized to work legally in the United States.•CPR and First Aid certified.•Able to pass a comprehensive background check.•Have at least 3-5 years of professional experience working with preschool-aged children.•Passionate about childcare and knowledgeable about developmental milestones.•Possess a professional resume with exceptional references.•Enthusiastic, engaging, and ready to bring a positive, can-do attitude to the role.
