Job Summary:Fouts Bros Inc. is seeking a dedicated and versatile Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The HR Generalist will be responsible for providing support to a variety of HR functions, including employee relations, recruitment, benefits administration, performance management, and compliance. This role is integral in ensuring that our workforce is supported and aligned with the company's goals and values.Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment & Staffing: Assist the Recruiting Coordinator in the recruitment process as necessary.
  • Employee Relations: Provide support to employees and management on HR-related issues. Foster a positive work environment by promoting a culture of open communication and teamwork.
  • Benefits Administration: Support the enrollment, changes, and communication of employee benefits programs to include review of monthly invoices. Assist employees with benefit-related questions and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Training & Development: Assist with training programs to support employee growth and professional development. Supports the performance management/evaluation process.
  • Compliance & Policies: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws. Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation. Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Payroll Support: Assist with payroll processing and ensure the accurate and timely payment of employees. Update payroll records as needed.
  • Employee Engagement: Develop and implement programs that enhance employee engagement and retention. Plan and execute employee events, recognition programs, and surveys to assess employee satisfaction.
  • Other Duties: Support the HR team with special projects, reporting, and any other HR-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in human resources, with a strong understanding of HR practices and employment law.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
  • Experience in the manufacturing is preferred.
