What will I Do?You will work in an excellent new ballpark, with a great team, creating lasting memories for our guests and fans. You will be responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to guests as they arrive for events within Daybreak Field at America First Square. You will assist guests with parking availability, purchases and validating parking at Bees games and other events at America First Square. This is a seasonal part-time, hourly position. The position may work on game nights, weekends and/or weekdays as neededYou will:
  • Exemplify the company values of Stewardship, Integrity, Hard Work, and Service
  • Act as a representative of the Salt Lake Bees, at all times, by your attitude, demeanor, and willingness to provide quality guest service
  • Perform Parking functions in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner. These include selling parking, validating parking, lot entry and exit supervision, providing directions, assisting guests with inquiries and resolving guest issues
  • Communicate clearly and keep current on information guests may inquire about. These include but are not limited to ballpark layout, seating locations, hospitality spaces, food and merchandise options
  • Be responsive to guests with disabilities in any manner necessary
  • Help out in other departments when needed
  • Address and resolve any guest issues or concerns as they arise
  • Own the experience that you create for our guests
  • Create noteworthy moments for our guests that help create lasting memories
  • Find a way to always get to yes
  • Work a majority of Bees home games (75 home games)
  • Report to and receive assignments from the Parking Supervisors and Managers
  • Be a good teammate, contribute positively to a winning culture, and be respectful

What are the requirements of the Job?We want to give our guests the best sporting experience possible. To do this, our jobs demand reliability, positivity, and hard work. We believe you have what it takes to make a great impact!
  • 1-year experience in a sporting or guest service-related field is preferred
  • Knowledge, understanding, and comfort with computers
  • Highly organized and resourceful, with the ability to multi-task
  • Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to communicate in English
  • Ability to work effectively under fast-paced, high-stress situations
  • Outdoor tasks to guide and assist guests as they arrive to The Ballpark at America First Square
  • Must be able to work outdoors for majority of work
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Ability to handle guest service issues including refunds and exchanges
  • Ability to calm dissatisfied guests through empathetic dialog
  • Must be able to perform repetitive motions
  • Must use hands to handle, grasp or reach with hands and arms
  • This person must be able to communicate and express themselves both written and verbally
  • This person must be able to observe, inspect, estimate and assess
  • This person must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
  • This person must be able to lift 25 lbs.
