Job Description :
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the project's quality management plan for management in alignment with client specifications, project scope, and industry standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and contractual requirements related to quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA).
  • Develop and manage quality assurance protocols, including audits, inspections, and reviews, to ensure consistent compliance with project requirements and standards.
  • Provide guidance on corrective and preventive actions when deviations are identified.
  • Oversee quality control activities, including material testing, structural inspections, and field testing.
  • Ensure proper documentation of inspections, tests, and any non-conformance reports (NCRs).
  • Manage the acceptance of work completed by contractors and subcontractors.
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, and construction teams to review drawings, plans, and specifications for quality risks or concerns.
  • Facilitate communication among stakeholders to resolve quality-related issues promptly.
  • Provide training and guidance to project staff, subcontractors, and workers on quality control processes and best practices.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging everyone to prioritize quality and safety.
  • Maintain accurate records of all quality-related activities, including test results, inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and corrective actions.
  • Prepare and submit quality management reports to senior management, clients, and regulatory agencies as required.
  • Identify potential quality risks early and work proactively with the project team to implement mitigation strategies.
  • Lead investigations into quality incidents and provide recommendations for process improvements.
  • Ensure that the project is compliant with all applicable construction standards, safety regulations, and environmental laws.
  • Lead internal and external audits of quality systems and practices, and address any findings or recommendations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of (10) years of experience in quality management within the construction industry.
  • Current certification in Construction Quality Management from the American Society for Quality (ASQ) or a certified ISO-9001 Lead Auditor as recognized by the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board (ANAB) or Exemplar Global is required.
  • The Quality Manager shall be independent to the physical production driven construction effort.
  • Experience managing quality on large-scale infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, or utilities is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, contract management, quality control systems, and relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASTM, AASHTO, DOT).
  • Familiarity with design-build project delivery methods is preferred.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with all project stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in using quality management software and tools (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend) and MS Office suite.
